The project enables people to cultivate their minds through   meditative tools such as an image of nature, a tea ceremony set and books.

    Description:
In a quiet room, a large screen is placed on a wall. The user pours tea into a teacup or turns pages of a book and then experiences images of nature on the wall and hears sounds of relaxing music. Both act to release stress and bring the user to a state of meditation. In Korean culture, people relax their minds through tea ceremonies by drinking tea while observing flowers, trees, and birds in   gardens. People also hang paintings of the four seasons in their studies or living rooms to remind them of truths in life and to cultivate their minds. Based on these forms of meditation, the tea set will generate an image of nature related with water such as drizzle, shower, fog or snow and the book will generate images of trees and flowers from each of the four seasons.

In the tea set, 4 pressure sensors are attached to detect the weight of water. In the book, a switch is attached on each page to detect the open and close action. An Xbee will send these signals to a coordinator Xbee which is connected to the main computer. The signal controls the image on the wall using serial communication. The image displays on 6 screens using Daniel Shiffman's MEP library which has been developed for the video wall of IAC in Chelsea in New York.
