Here is the finished Civil Rights quilt. As you can see, there is a layer of vinyl so that users can sign it with contributors to the field of Civil Rights.

Here is a picture of the civil rights quilt. I hand stitched the stippling design in the background and added a small binding. Before showing, a layer of vinyl will be added in order that people may sign the quilt with people who they think have contributed to the field of civil rigths.

The Civil Rights Quilt will not incorporate circuitry (YIPPEE!!!), and so I only have to sew for this one. After attaching the mountains, I had to build the rocks. The rocks are made of 2 pieces of fabric, and I build them row by row. Below are pictures detailing the construction of the background.
