i loved it, its beautiful and quiet…has an amazing park with a green house…ideal for studying and taking a break from new york city…enjoy riding your bike by the water…totally worth it…that is if you enjoy peace and quiet!

The Blogs of War

incredibly interesting to see how a war can be so close to us today. before it was something that we heard of happening in the other side of the world. then we could see it live on tv, which changed our view of war completely…but now with blogs, we can actually follow up on the everyday activities, points of view and feelings of the fighters. we are now closer to war then we have ever been and have the ability to observe war at a personal level.

EverQuest: 77th Richest Country

i found this article amazingly interesting. it is unbelievable that in the world of consumerism that we live in today a virtual economy exists, but more unbelievable to think it could represent a larger economy than many countries in the world. i was not familiar with the complexity of these games, and level of involvement that people have in them. i find the concept of the game designers having such similarities with governments in many ways a great way of learning about the behavior of human beings living in societies. these games have created micro countries that react very similar to real countries in some aspects.
