ISCO - Exploded Comic

Project Brief:

A traditional comic strip is made up of panels that convey a highly condensed and edited selection of narrative events (both constituent and supplementary). Each panel is in some ways, an object itself, as are the spaces in between each panel; decisions are made in the service of creating an “object” (the comic) that unfolds over time, plays with scale, viewpoint, framing/shot, characters, rhythm and mood. You are going to make an “exploded comic”

Video Sculpture Week 02: Abstract Film

For this week we had to work on an abstract film inspired by the experimental films of the 1920’s. We all had diferent adjectives, and the one that I got was “gloomy’. This was good and bad for me. Let me explain, it was good because I knew what sort of aesthetic I was going to follow, but bad because I had to constantly remind myself to keep away from cheesy or goth imagery since
