Camp 2012 Wrap Up

The tape is slowly being pulled up from the floor and the counselors stand is being disassembled around me as I type this. ITP Camp 2012 is over. We had a fantastic month with a range of incredible talented and awesome campers. We had campers from around the world, including Belgium, Canada Ireland and Brazil join a group of campers whose professions ranged from video artists, to film makers, to developers, teachers, to graphic designers and many others. We had sessions on Processing, Kinect hacking, lasercutting, bio engineering, Max/MSP/Jitter, Arduino, Beagleboard, 3D printing, projection mapping and everything in between. Campers made projects that ranged from a room lit by kinect-enabled motion-controlled LED lights, a human piano, projection mapping, a doll that literally ROFL’d when you smiled at it with the help of a bunch of servo motors, laser cut graffiti, computer assisted embroidery, 3D printed glasses and more.

Check out a slideshow of camp photos from this year. We hope to see you all next year!
