'Making Concessions'

Article from the NY Times regarding personal reactions of the "erosion of privacy" currently underway (PDF, 417.8 KB)...

"We walk down the street all the time and we can be seen there," Susan P. Crawford, a professor at the Cardozo School of Law in New York, said. "We also move around online, and can be 'seen' to some extent there as well. But we continue to go for walks."

Which segues nicely to spying on people at Starbucks in the Village.
