Anonymous surfing for your USB thumb drive
READ MORE:
Free software TorPark gives you an encrypted and anonymous IP browsing experience straight from your USB thumb drive.
TorPark is a fully configured combination of Tor (The Onion Router) and Mozilla’s browser technologies. Both programs are in the zip files, fully configured. Just unzip them to a flash drive and run the setup file.
Assisted in development by John Haller of Portable Firefox fame, TorPark sounds like a good idea when you’re browsing on someone else’s computer. Keep in mind, though, that TorPark can’t really help you on a really shady computer (e.g., one that might be running a keystroke logging program).
Last week we mentioned anonymous web browsing with free software, Tor.
