Important reminders for checking out the 5D:

• When checking out a camera kit, pay attention as the ER staff point out the kit items included and any exceptions noted (i.e. extra battery)
• When returning the camera, make sure that the lens caps, body cap, card reader, battery and CF card are returned
• If you return the camera without any of these parts, and the exception hasn't been noted in the checkout, you will be charged for the replacement of the missing items
• Cameras kits will not be checked out without the kit case
• The standard kit lens is the Canon 28-135, Macro at a .5 meter
• Remove and install the CF card CAREFULLY - many cameras are coming back with broken or bent pins inside the CF card slot
• Checkouts are for 24 hours! Only! - unless additional arrangements have been made in advance through me or Marlon via itp.helpdesk@nyu.edu
