Global Game Jam (Head’s Up)
Hi all,
This is just a reminder that ITP will be partnering with the NYU Game Center to host a weekend-long Global Game Jam beginning tonight!
As part of this event, ITP has reserved the classrooms for use by the various teams developing games. This means ITP will be hosting anywhere from 50-60 outside guests who will be visiting the floor throughout the weekend. You should have no problems working in all of the other areas of the floor (The Lobby, Lounge, Shop, Quiet Room and Lab).
Please extend a warm welcome to our guests should you run into them on the floor. The last time we hosted this event, it went very smoothly and both the participants and our students were able to work in the shared space without a problem.
Finally, in light of last week’s thefts, we are reminding everyone – participants and ITP students – to remain vigilant and not leave personal belongings unattended…
