Re:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Lockers
First of all, congratulations to everyone! Thesis Week and the Spring
Show were a great success, and you all deserve a round of applause —
you earned it. And a special “YAHOO” to our new grads.
As you all recover from the end-of-semester madness, and begin to make
your summer plans, we would be grateful if you would pay attention to
this important information about locker assignments this summer and
beyond.
* Returning Students
It you are a registered student for the fall, your may of course keep
your current locker assignment — but we ask the you confirm your
assignment with Gloria.
For your convenience and to minimize errors as we clean house over the
summer, please email Gloria (gloria.sed@nyu.edu) confirming your
current locker assignment (that is, the # of the locker you are
currently using) so that she can verify her records — this will ensure
that your materials remain undisturbed over the summer. Thanks in
advance for attending to this.
* Graduating Students
Again, congratulations! If you have just graduated please empty your
locker, and return the lock to Gloria, by Monday, May 22 at 5 pm. We
ask this of you so that we can provide locker space to our summer
students (summer school begins on May 15).
* (Almost) Graduated students who will be here for summer study
If you are working to complete your course work over the summer and/or
are registered for a summer class (or classes), you may keep your
locker until Friday, Aug. 4 at 5 pm. Please advise Gloria specifically
if you fall into this category.
If you have any questions or concerns about where you fit into these
guidelines, or about your ability to meet the deadlines set, please
contact me ASAP (george.agudow@nyu.edu or 212-998-1891).
I am sure that you all understand that we need to make appropriate
preparations this summer for the summer students and the entering fall
class. We will post reminders as the deadlines approach — but due to
the number of lockers, and the volume of students involved, we must
enforce these deadlines strictly.
If you don’t take care of business, and we don’t hear from you, we will
remove and discard items unclaimed by the above-mentioned deadlines.
Please don’t let this happen to you! We appreciate your cooperation.
Have a great summer everyone!
