ITP FALL 2007 ALBERT REGISTRATION BEGINS TODAY AT 11:00 AM!

The second phase of ITP’s Fall 2007 registration process will
commence at 11:00 a.m. TODAY, MONDAY, APRIL 30, when all eligible
students will be free to make any changes to their current Fall 2007
registration.
All the results from the initial in-house phase of the registration
process have now been entered into the system including the waiting
lists where applicable. All students planning to be enrolled in the
Fall 2007 semester should go into ALBERT and check their assigned
schedule. If you are satisfied with your schedule, you don’t need to
do anything today. But if you would like to add one of the courses
that are still open, or add yourself to a waiting list of one or more
of the courses that have closed, you should log into ALBERT (access
through http://home.nyu.edu) TODAY at 11:00 a.m. and make whatever
changes to your Fall 2007 enrollment that you desire.
Cancellations/Addition/Closed Courses
The following courses were canceled:
H79.2310-001 Embedding Privacy
H79.2446-001 Developing Assistive Technology
H79.2636-001 Mapping
H79.2646-001 The Creative Process Loop
The faculty decided to add a second session of Muon Thi Van’s 2-point
course, Flash Lite Application Development (H79.2630-002). This new
section will meet at the same time as the first section (Wednesday
6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) but will meet every other week beginning the
second week of classes (Wednesday, September 12) and then continue
every other week for six more sessions. The call number for this
course is 76232.
This second section was populated with the first 16 people on the
waiting list of the first section of the course, and is now closed
with a waiting list of 3. (The first section has 4 students on the
waiting list.)

H79.2580-001 Mobile Application Design (4 on the waiting list)
H79.2590-001 Sustainable Practices (1 on the waiting list)
H79.2594-001 Internet Television: The Emerging Media (2 on the
waiting list)
H79.2628-001 Expressing Information (10 on the waiting list)
H79.2630-001 Flash Lite Application Design (4 on the waiting list)
H79.2630-002 Flash Lite Application Design (3 on the waiting list)
H79.2632-001 User-Generated (10 on the waiting list)
H79.2644-001 Show and Tell Studio II (0 on the waiting list)
H79.2652-001 2X2 (6 on the waiting list)
H79.2654-001 Metaforms (10 on the waiting list)
H79.2672-001 Collaborative Mesh Networking (5 on the waiting list)
All the rest of the courses have space available. You can check on
the status of any course in ALBERT by clicking on Course Status under
the Registration menu.
Registration Status
The registration time blocks setting the start time for registration
to 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 30 have been put in the system, and all
of the advisor approvals have been cleared. You can check your
registration status on ALBERT by clicking on Registration Status
under the Registration menu. If you have any block other than the
registration time block, you must clear it before 11:00 a.m. today,
as you will not be able to enroll in any courses until the block is
cleared.
