Special workshop for F-1 students

F-1 STUDENTS and OTHER VISA OPTIONS AFTER GRADUATION
Although F-1 students are eligible for 12 months of Optional
Practical Training[OPT] work permission, many do wish to stay for
several years beyond graduation. This would require a change to
another visa category. One such option is the O-1 visa for persons
of extraordinary ability, which has been nicknamed the artist visa.
The OISS has arranged for an immigration lawyer who specializes in
the O-1 visa for artists [including new media] to conduct a seminar.
This seminar is free but space is limited and advanced sign up is
required.
The seminar is on Wednesday, September 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
