Matt Mason, author of the forthcoming “The Pirate’s Dilemma”, will be
coming to ITP talk to the User Generated class this Friday, from 12:30
to 1:30, in Room 406. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Matt studied as an economist and worked as a DJ for a pirate radio
station in London. His book, out in January of 2008, asks “Do we fight
pirates, or do we learn from them?”
The Pirate’s Dilemma explains how youth culture drives innovation at a
time when piracy is just another business model, the remix is our most
powerful marketing tool and anyone with a computer is capable of
reaching more people than a multi-national corporation.
