ITP Summer 2008 Registration has begun!
Our Summer 2008 Course Descriptions are now posted on the ITP website
at the following location:

You can download the Summer 2008 Course Descriptions, the Summer 2008
Schedule, and the Summer 2008 Call Numbers as pdf files by clicking
on their links located under the “Downloads” section.
Hard copies are available at my desk.
If you are interested in registering in an ITP Summer course, you
need only contact your advisor for approval, and have them e-mail me,
and I will clear you to register for summer courses on ALBERT (access
through NYU Home: http://www.home.nyu.edu).
Summer courses are charged on a per credit basis at the rate of
$1,037 per point ($980 tuition/$57 registration fee per point). In
addition, students are charged the ITP lab fee ($197) and a one-time
mandatory University services fee of $186. (Students who were not
enrolled in NYU for the Spring 2008 semester pay a fee of $213). NYU
students will be charged $4531.00 in tuition and registration fees
for a four-credit course; non-NYU students will be charged $4558.00
per four-credit course.
Tuition is due on May 5, 2008. Students who have not paid by May 5
will be dropped from their Summer 2008 courses.
The Refund Schedule is as follows:
For Summer Session I Courses:
Withdrawal by Sunday, May 18, 2008: 100% Tuition and Fees.
Withdrawal on the first or second calendar day of session (Summer I-
May 19 or May 20): 100% tuition only (no fees)
Withdrawal on the third or fourth calendar day of session (Summer I-
May 21 or May 22): 70% tuition only (no fees)
Withdrawal on the fifth or sixth calendar day of session (Summer I-
May 23 or May 24): 55% tuition only (no fees)
Withdrawal on the seventh or eighth calendar day of session (Summer
I-May 25 to May 27): 25% tuition only (no fees)
Withdrawal after the eighth calendar day of session (Summer I-May
28 on): No refund
For Summer Session II Courses:
Withdrawal by Sunday, June 29, 2008 (Summer II courses only): 100%
Tuition and Fees.
Withdrawal on the first or second calendar day of session (Summer
II-June 30 or July 1): 100% tuition only (no fees)
Withdrawal on the third or fourth calendar day of session (Summer
II-July 2 or July 3): 70% tuition only (no fees)
Withdrawal on the fifth or sixth calendar day of session (Summer
II- July 4 to July 7): 55% tuition only (no fees)
Withdrawal on the seventh or eighth calendar day of session (Summer
II-July 8 or July 9): 25% tuition only (no fees)
Withdrawal after the eighth calendar day of session (Summer II-July
10 on): No refund
Please note all courses meet TWICE A WEEK over the six-week session
for a total of 12 meetings per course.
