Kathleen is the co-founder of Rikaroo.com, which helps independent filmmakers find exposure for their films online and film lovers find those hard to find films. She’s also a consultant specializing in digital media strategy and development, interactive design for cross-media platforms and the use of emerging technologies in the creation of informal learning experiences.
Previously, she was the V.P., Creative Director and a founding member of Viacom Interactive, catalyzing and incubating digital media products and businesses across the Viacom companies. Prior to Viacom, she was an Executive Producer and founding member of Paramount's Media Kitchen, creating interactive TV pilots, digital storyworlds and mobile content; co-designer of SimTown for Maxis/EA; the Director of Design for the Museum Education Consortium at MoMA; and the Multimedia Director at Bank Street’s Center for Children and Technology.
Kathleen has written numerous articles about her work, lectured globally, and participated as a judge at new media festivals. She has a doctorate from Harvard in cognitive-developmental psychology and media design, an MBA from TRIUM (HEC-Paris, LSE-London, Stern-NYU), and an MFA from the VT College of Fine Arts.
