Gilad LotanAlumni, Class of 2007
Gilad was born in Israel and raised partially in East Asia. He has traveled extensively, working in Hong Kong for four years before coming to New York. In addition, Gilad is formally trained in music, theatre and photography. In his work, Gilad tries to explore cultural differences and how technology can help bridge existing cultural gaps. For his master's thesis project, Gilad is looking at forming a grassroots initiative, utilizing backpackers and independent travelers as a distribution network for needed resources and information to remote regions and third world countries.
