Avani (Patel) Palkhiwala

Avani Palkhiwala hails from a family of artists and engineers. She has, depending on the week, worked as an illustrator, interaction designer, print designer, game designer or programmer.

As an adjunct for the past 2 years, her public speaking is put to the test every week. As of Fall 2011, Avani will be a visiting professor in the Computer Science and Interactive Multimedia Departments.

In her free time she enjoys firing up her soldering iron and sewing machine.
