Maria MendezAlumni, Class of 2008
Maria Mendez is an interactive artist and designer living in New York. Her work explores how audiovisual technology can be used to transform, expand, amplify and interpret physical spaces. Since the early 2000s, her work has involved computational design tools and interactivity. After having explored during her undergraduate the potentialities of video, experimental animation and video installations, she started exploring interactivity as a new element in her creative work through the study of topics such as web development, information design, and programming.
