Katherine Dillon

Katherine has been designing experiences and communication materials for over twenty years. Prior to joining the full-time faculty at ITP Katherine Dillon was a founding partner of Dillon | Thompson, a digital media design agency focused on helping media companies, non-profit organizations and entrepreneurs define and enhance their digital footprint. Firm awards included a Webby, 2 Webby Honoree Awards an EPPY and an Online News Association General Excellence Award. Personal awards include two Emmy Awards, awarded for design and technical achievement at ACNEWS, and the Harvard University Sheldon Fellowship and Harvard Graduate School of Design Computer Graphic Prize. Katherine spent 13 years in creative management roles at ABCNEWS. She was the founding Vice President and General Manager of ABCNEWS.com, the founding Creative Director of the ABC Multimedia Group and the Managing Director of Broadcast Graphics at ABC News.
Katherine holds a Master of Architecture and Urban Design degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University.
