I am a New York City based designer and artist with more than a decade of experience as a graphics editor, a lifetime of creative artistic expression, and a mind set on a future of clever, sustainable design projects.

My information graphics and design experience was honed over the years in both print and digital media working for publications such as the New York Times, Fortune Magazine and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

Recently, while completing a master’s degree at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), I applied my data visualization and design background to a wide range of sustainable technologies, systems and concepts. My projects have included building an aquaponics system, prototyping a solar sculpture, and creating building materials from e-waste. Further studies also helped me understand the meaning of sustainability in an urban context and its impact on a community’s landscape.

Through the years, I’ve also continued my passion for sculpture and fabrication, working with a variety of materials, including stone, steel, plastics, and clay. This experience has allowed me to think broadly and innovatively about creative solutions to design problems — both big and small.

Moving forward, I look to bring my interests and experience together to work at the forefront of sustainable innovation and design, helping realize its potential, and continuing to explore the convergence of its aesthetics and functionality.

Feel free to contact me with any questions about where I've been, where I am, and where I'm going.
