Courses Taught: Designing and Collaborating for Live Performance

Andrew is a theater artist and interactive designer. He has been recognized by Apple for “Outstanding Achievement in Film,” and contributed to John Nobbs's book A Devil Pokes the Actor, on the Suzuki training method. He is currently designing the world premiere of Andrew Lippa’s I am Harvey Milk in San Francisco, and recently designed Benjamin Britton's Owen Wingrave with Opera Philadelphia. His work has been seen in New York at the Duke Theater, 3LD Art and Technology Center, HERE Arts Center, P.S. 122, Ars Nova, and the Wild Project. He has worked with directors such as Michael Mayer, Daniel Fish, Benjamin Endsley Klein, Daniel Goldstien, and Tina Shepard. Before moving to New York Andrew lived in Seattle, where he co-founded the Satori Group. With Satori he spent several years directing, designing shows, while leading their development process.
