Jean-Marc Gauthier, an interactive artist, teacher and entrepreneur 
creates interactive installations at the intersection of gaming, 
future of cinematography, interactive animation and scientific 
visualization. JMG concentrates on creating a playful relationship 
with the audience viewing a virtual world. To name a few:
 “NightHawks″, a gaming installation interacting with a large audience

“Aphrodisias”, an immersive interactive display of virtual archeology

JMG designed immersive environments for visually impaired people
and a 3D visualization browser for the human body called the "Dynamic

JMG is currently designing a 3D interactive navigation of the brain with the
Department of Neurological Surgery, NYU Medical Center.

JMG is the creator of www.tinkering.net, an interactive design 
consultancy conceptualizing and producing interactive 3D animations 
and immersive environments for gaming, museums, medical training, 
immersive environments and data visualization applications for 
clients including: The Cousteau Society, Musee des Sciences et de 
l'Industrie, Doctors Without Borders, Publicis Networks, Sia 
Sistemas, Scholastic, USA Networks, NYU Medical Center, Lighthouse 
international, Le Cube, The Paul Taylor Dance Company, The Chapin 
School and The Four Oaks Foundation. JMG is involved with several 
innovation programs including creating a gaming curriculum for a high 
school and he co-organized Designing Interactive Systems 2006 from the 
ACM conference series.

Electronica Festival 2005 (Austria), Villette-Biennale Numérique (Paris),
Le Cube (Issy), Urban Screens 05 (Amsterdam), MAMAC (Nice), Villa Arson
(Nice), Milia (Cannes).
