Yu-Ting FengAlumni, Class of 2014
Yu-Ting Feng comes from an island nation called Taiwan, and now inhabits another island – Manhattan. She has a BA from Yuan Zen University of Taiwan, and a diploma from the Chinese Film Association. She brings with her the skillset of a filmmaker, and academic background in communications, technology and art.
She worked with a number of international non-profit and art-related organizations, participated in events such as Reduce the Digital Divide in Africa, India, and Nepal. Post-Actitud Exhibition in Mexico, International Folk Festival in Italy, and off Avignon Festival in France. Her works have been nominated to film festivals in Tokyo, Bejing, Kaohsiung and Taipei. Yu-Ting is also the co-founder of IMoviee.com and 5406 Ltd.. In addition, she has taught at both national and private universities. Yu-Ting is currently a freshman in the Interactive Telecommunications Program of the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Her script “Seven Days After a son death” won the best screen play award in Taiwan. She is focus on how to use story to make people know each other deeper.
