Yuliya ParshinaStudent, Class of 2014
Born in Moscow, Russia, I came to New York at the age of 12. After earning a BFA in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts, I spent seven years working as a 2D-3D animator, motion graphics artist and illustrator in industries as diverse as children's television, advertising, online media and educational museum exhibits. I currently teach an After Effects motion graphics course in Pratt Institute's undergraduate Communications Design department.
I am most passionate about my work for cultural organizations such as the American Museum of Natural History, the National Museum of American Jewish History and the 9/11 Memorial. At ITP I am looking to re-envision what I can contribute to such projects.
