Background
According to blip's website, blip.tv is a free videoblogging, podcasting and video sharing service. If you don't have a blog they'll give you one, and if you have one already they'll make it a show. How cool?

From blip.tv, I learnt another video site called TreehuggerTV. Treehugger TV, as it claimed, is dedicated to everything that has a modern aesthetic yet is environmentally responsilble. One episode will be produced every week.

Comments
I like the idea of TreehuggerTV a lot. I like it because it has its own focus, its videos are all environment related. While having your contents delivered to your audience is no longer a major concern, I think in order to success in videoblogging, you have to be somehow speficalized in certain topic or field, content is the king. Contents from Treehugger are still user-generated but in a way that Treehugger is there to filter and to help in the production process, this can highly ensure the quality of the videos.

Online videos are usually shorter than videos being played in other medium (TV). "How-to" video or video that gives audience quick tips which can be beneficial to everyone's daily life can be a huge success for online video blogging. And Treehugger is one of them. Topics that somehow I think I should know and will be beneficial to my daily life but I won't have a chance to look them up because of busy daily schedule draw my most attention. A 3-minute long clip which tellsme a liitle bit more about how to save energey or how to prevent from toxic chemicals has always been my choice.
