Lost - iTunes

The iTunes store is a perfect way to time-shift for those who do not have a DVR or Tivo device. One of my favorite shows on iTunes is Lost, having mostly watched Lost on my computer there are good things and bad.

One of the bad things about watching Lost on iTunes is the pixelation when blown up full screen on my laptop. This is not so much of an issue when i watch on my television because the resolution of most non-high definition televisions is 640 by 480.

Unless I connect my ipod or computer to my television, i didn't feel as fully engaged to Lost when i watched on my computer, i kept getting distracted by e-mails and wanting to look something up on the web.

The other downside to watching Lost in iTunes is the lack of chapters. This forced me to remember times where I left off instead of being able to skip through as with a DVD.

The good side is the lack of commercials, when i watched Lost on television i had a hard time adjusting to the commercial breaks throughout the episode.

I would say itunes is great choice if you do not have a DVR or Tivo or require taking your television shows with you.
