BlueGPS is an app that allows an external bluetooth GPS to be used with an Android phone. A quick Google search for bluetooth GPS turned up some promising units that have similar specs (water resistance, SiRF III, WAAS-enabled) to the Garmin 76CSX units we use. Example: Gosget SB-379
