In case you're curious:
To calculate the value for a current limiting resistor for an LED: R = (V_s - V_f) / I_f
Where:

V_s = your source Voltage (usually 5 Volts for pcomp class).
V_f = the typical LED forward Voltage, find that in the LED's data sheet.
I_f = the typical LED forward Current, find that in the LED's data sheet.\\
