Winding the bobbin

The bobbin provides the thread for the underside of the stitches a sewing machine forms.
If you're just starting to learn how to sew on a sewing machine you should know that keeping the bobbin tight is very important.
It is advisable to have extra bobbins so that you don't find yourself unwinding bobbins to change the color of the thread on the sewing machine.

Only use the bobbin designed for NS40!!! (part code : SA156)
If bobbins from other models are used, the machine will not operate correctly.

Step 1 : Turn on the Sewing Machine.

Step 2 : Place the bobbin on the bobbin winder shaft.

Step 3 : Slide the bobbin winder shaft to the right.

Step 4 : Insert the thread onto the spool pin.

Step 5 : Pass the thread under the thread guide.

Step 6 : Pass the thread under the thread guide cover.

Step 7 : Pass the thread under the hook and then wind the thread between the discs.

Step 8 : Pass the thread through the bobbin-winding guide, and wind the end of the thread around the bobbin several times.

Step 9 : Set up the bobbin winding speed.

Step 10 : Press Start/Stop Button
