| Interactive fractal that responds to viewer’s position. |
| An interactive fractal system that zooms (and possibly pans) according to the viewer’s position relative to a video camera that tracks the viewers motion. |
| |
| Personal Statement: | I was captivated by the intricacies of self-similar systems and thought I\'d like to develop a project based on that theme. |
| Background: | Interfractive was developed to meet the final project requirements for Nature of Code |
| Audience: | Psychedelic-free psychedelia |
| User Scenario: | The viewer faces a wall where the fractal is projected. A camera or webcam faces the viewer and captures his/her position. The fractal image then responds to the viewers position relative to the camera. |
| Technical System Description: | A screen (preferably a plasma or a projector), PC, video camera or webcam and a flat-color background. |
