| Sound-Off! is an audio community bulletin board and podcast in which registered users can post and share audio clips. Think of it as a \"Flicker\" service for audio files. |
Sound-Off! is an audio blog/podcast community where users can post and share audio files. Instead of traditional electronic bulletin boards being purely text, Sound-Off! positions audio files to be the elements of a threaded discussion.
The submission of these audio files is meant to be as easy as possible. Users can submit by calling Sound-Off\'s phone number and leaving a voicemail message, or uploading a ready made mp3 file.

| Background: | Text blogging, podcasting and vlogging are gaining popularity at the moment but they don\'t engage a proper forum for discussion. They are all forms of one-to-many communication. There is no two way discussion. Sound-Off! creates a forum where anybody with a phone can respond to a post or create a discussion through the power of their voice. |
| Audience: | Anyone with a phone can make a post. Anyone with a computer and internet connection can create a profile and start seeding discussions with their audio posts. |
| User Scenario: | To start a thread, a registered user will be required to enter some descriptive text (tags) about their submission. Untagged submissions will be stored on the user\'s profile area on the Sound-Off! web site until the user has a chance to edit them. Any user, however, can respond to any post by calling in and leaving a comment by calling the Sound-Off phone number and entering the corresponding thread ID number. |
