Needies are your needy friends. Never before has a plush toy demanded so much T.L.C. Neurotic to the core, they cry out for attention at any and every opportunity. Hug one, and you risk offending the others. Squeeze another, and watch it flaunt its good fortune. |

| Background: | Adults have always been the largest market for toys. However it\'s only recently that their role has changed from cash-cow, buying toys for children, to the actual intended user.
Needies are a response to the growing market for plush toys designed for adults. Needies have combined the hard-wired intelligence of toys like Furby with the growing interest in self-conscious adult-marketed toys like Ugly Dolls. | | Audience: | Adults who like toys | | User Scenario: | Users squeeze and hug one Needie and hear the reactions of the other Needies. When user is not touching any Needies, they try to entertain themselves, but if they don\'t succeed, they become more and more demanding of the user. |
