A ‘guided” random journey through the puzzling everyday maze (labyrinth) of one of the most heavily populated urban centers of the planet, which happens to be my hometown.

Simultaneously it is an eclectic attempt to reconsider the Situationist International concepts of Psychogeography and Dérive through the powerful new means offered by the GPS, Satellite maps, Web, digital cameras, editing and manipulation software, to produce a work of art in which viewers and surroundings become an interacting (configuration), inviting explorations, discoveries, and dialogues.

My work as a nomadic and multimedia visual artist has been a constant exploration of the urban landscape and the everyday objects found within to twist conventional notions of reality and engage the imagination of the viewer.

Sources of my inspiration are works of: Jorge Luis Borges, Humberto Eco, Ernesto Sabato, Ernest Dubord, Constant, Octavio Paz,
Artistic movements like the Situationist International, Cobra, Fluxus, among others.
Greek Mytology, Aztec Culture are also important references in my work.
