What I try to achieve with this project is coming from two angles. First of all, I believe we are surrounded with lots of data that are waiting to be put in a context that they can be more meaningful. Second is we are giving away information about ourselves everyday. I try to combine these two thoughts in my project. The setup consists of a video screen with a camera on top of it directed to a white wall. The scenario is like this: When the user comes in front of the screen and in the area where camera can sense, the camera senses the color information of the user and sends this data to google with color keywords and crawls the urls that are related and tries to parse these sentences into the screen where the user sees himself too. So when multiple user comes infront of the screen there happens a multiple interaction. We can see the screen as an alternative displays of our lives.

the user enters the room/area which is lighted by a consistent lighting system, he sees the display screen/projection against him/her. Then as he moves towards the display to understand what is going on, he/she see himself and text that is beginning to shape, the text stays up on the screen for a fewseconds and then disappears with a dropping effect. Multiple users can create multiple interactions in this scenario.

I am thinking to run a computer that runs my processing application which is connected to a firewire camera(could be an isight at this point) and a projector screen or a plasma screen. I need to have a consistent light situation for the sake of the project since I am tracking color of the clothes that users wears.

Right now thw working parts are: I can send color queries into google and display them as text on the screen without problems. Things to be added: + bringing video into equation and connecting it to the application. + run multiple thread of the application so that there is going to be multiple interaction. + make the test more spatial in the display
