Numerically controlled fabrication has opened a new terrain for designers to explore - students from the 'Fabricating Information' seminar present two such experiments, using both 3d printing and 3-axis milling to realize computationally derived forms. Flexible machines, complex topologies, soft formalisms.

Description
Work from the 'fabricating information' seminar - including a series of cubic 3d prints and tiles of milled material - will be displayed in a simple matrix. The display will feature work from each student in a compact format. This will show the work of the class as an ensemble research around the constraints of the fabrication process. The work has already been produced and formatted to ensure a cohesive presentation. The display could possibly be freestanding if their is not enough wall space.
