bottleHunt
Description
Hidden throughout New York City are bottles containing LCDs. The screens display messages that are sent to them over the internet. Participants receive clues via text mail and phone calls that lead to the bottles. The first person to find all the bottles will win the game.
Personal Statement
My background is in big game design. My first games were scavenger hunt / pub crawls. With bottleHunt, I've taken a game format that has proven fun over the last 6 years and applied technologies that I've learned this semester. I'm interested in determining how the introduction of technolgy will effect the fun-ness of a non-tech game that I've already tested.
Audience
People who like games! Since some of the bottles are hidden in bars, players must be at least 21 years old.
