Enabling wheelchair users to use their wheels for therapy, entertainment and creativity.
Ramps is a set of tracks that turn a wheelchair into an input system for a computer. The system is designed to take advantage of the skills that wheelchair users have and acquire. Ramps will be explored in news ideas for therapy, control, entertainment and creativity. The goal is to make a system that refocuses the role of the wheelchair for the users.

The two tracks each include 2 rollers, a bumper wheel, a 34" ramp with slight incline. A rotary encoder will also be positioned with the rollers to provide an input of the roller's movement and speed. The rotary encoder will be attached to a microcontroller that will send serial data to an application that will perform therapy routines, a DJ system, a video game or an art program.
