Mirrored Experience
Prototype for a site-specific video installation with pre-recorded still and moving images and live image components: a mix of approx. 10 minutes looped recording with multiple entry points for the real time live video sequences. The recorded sequences reframe and interpret images of the viewer/performer. Via audio input viewer/performer is in control of a variety of random visual effects.

Background:Prototype for an interactive public/performance space with multiple entry points for the viewer/performer, in portable QT format and with optional audio input in control of a variety of visual effects. Programmed in Quartz Composer, on a DVD, saved in QuickTime.
Audience:Anyone who is interested to play and/or look in a mirror in a public space.

This video installation offers to test how a similar set up could work in a staged performance space or gallery environment serving multiple interaction between the physical space, the invented space, and the actors, performers, audience, viewers as well as random participants.
Technical System Description:Programmed with Quartz Composer.
