Description
Pop-Up clothes encourage the wearer and anyone she encounters to interact as would children at play together- with a sense of wonder.
Every piece elaborates upon an interaction with another person, an object, or oneself.
The centerpiece of our collection is the "Chin-Up" collar which focuses on the wearer's interaction with herself. The collapsible collar unfolds into a beautiful, light feminine neck warming accessory, like a scarf, that can be neatly tucked away. The piece makes reference to tribal neck braces and corsets that women have worn in the past to control their bodies. The chin-up collar prosthetically reminds her to keep her to chin up and respect herself.

Personal Statement
Pop-Up! arose from a fascination with tactile experimentation, the magical transition from 2D to 3D, and the subtle effects on each participant when two beings meet.
Conceptually, Pop-Up! came out of a love story where a girl felt crumpled and folded like a discarded receipt when he lover left her. The line is also a tribute to the tactile explorations we undertook with other kids in Montessori school that shaped our relationships with the world.

Background
Origami, pop-up books, science fairs, superheroes, modularity, portability, Lucy Orta's work, chinese garlands, collapsible beach mats, packages, boxes, and the absurdity of everyday life.
User Scenario
Most users will only be able to try on the collars. Users who stick around long enough will get to try dancing in a skirt full of snapbracelets that pop-up to show off their knickers when they dance.
Implementation
Most Pop-Up clothes are made only of fabric, trim, snaps, ribbons that you can pull to make something scrunch up. The snapbracelet skirt is made of fabric and metal strips that have two states: rigid and curled up in a circle. They often employ pockets from which you can pull games and surprises.
Conclusion
A good name and the joy you can transmit to people when talking about a project, is maybe all you need to have a successful product.
