The project involves building a regenerative system for powering specific devices on bicycles. Concept is loosely based on a dynamo design.
The strength of the concept lies in the way power is generated. By pressing the brake, the effort required to generate power is not felt by the user, but absorbed from inertia and usual friction losse.
Currently working with a set of geared motors, linked to the brake, to facilitate both switching the generation of energy and timing the switch.
Hoping to focus on the following things for the rest of the semester.
1. modular design /integrating full circuit
2. maximizing power and circuit
