HelloTablet is an app that demonstrates one use of a language processing system I designed as part of my Master's thesis at New York University.
HelloTablet can answer your yes-or-no questions using plain text it finds on the web.
It looks for evidence that is relevant to your question on the web, and then predicts whether or not this evidence entails your question. HelloTablet uses these predictions to form an answer and justification that it speaks back to the user.
