StreetForms

Mitch Said

StreetForms points towards a drawable city, offering an artistic layer above digitally-mediated public space.

StreetForms is a web and mobile-based platform/toolset that hopes to encourage new forms of creative intervention in urban space. By integrating Google’s “Street View” service with a custom creative interface, I want to expand the notion of ‘public art’ to include digital visual augmentation and annotation.

Implementation
StreetForms is a website that allows for the creation and exhibition of digital 'public art', and an iPhone application that allows for the retrieval of these virtual creations in their real world location.
