For little memories I’m working with the concept of scale to create miniature, intimate video installations using home movies and found footage. They are set up in corners and near the ground level, in places that you feel that you found them in stead of them being displayed as an spectacle, again playing with this notion of intimacy and treasure that memory entails.
I started working on these series in video for new media during the summer, and now I'm expanding it in video sculpture creating new situations through little mock-ups and objects that are combined with projections and video mapping to create these intimate souvenirs that reflect on how memories are brought back to us.
