Design Ability is a collection of household products for the physically disabled. Rather than mechanical buttons, a lamp, alarm clock and portable stereo speakers use touch sensor technology for the interface to make it easier to use for people with limited dexterity. These products hope to create a sense of ease and normalcy for the physically impaired.
