Hello is an autonomous stand-alone object that accesses the users chat archive once a day, selects a piece of a chat conversation, and prints it out at a random time.

As our digital devices become more and more a part of our lives, our accumulation of personal data grows at an ever-faster rate. Hello seeks to access and use that data to provoke memory and encourage introspection by presenting users with a historical record of their past relationships.

Hello is meant to occupy a permanent space in the users living or working space. This constant but silent presence apes our close relationship with our devices, but aims to pull the user closer to the physical world instead of further away.
