It consists in a space ship build out of insulation foam that inside you will find a few little aliens making a scene. Looking at an aquarium, which is samples they brought from earth and they have reactions about it. Ill project video in their faces and at the aquarium. My intention is to portray amazement by nature, something we are very used to but dont care a lot. Ill portray the sensation of looking at something for the first time, thus, enchanting.

Systems, people, philosophies, and world-views need to change with the always-evolving world or risk becoming irrelevant and therefore unstable. Delta physically represents this conclusion by exemplifying the importance of self-reflection and beckons viewers to examine themselves from two perspectives. The symbol Delta is an equilateral triangle that represents change in scientific notation and is one of the strongest geometric forms in architecture.

Delta lures a person to its gaze by flashing lights that increase in speed based on the viewer’s proximity to the sculpture. Once directly in front of Delta, the viewer’s image is displayed on a small three-sided pyramid projection screen. The image shown is two overlaid perspectives: a close up of their own face and the other, their body from afar. Each image is captured using webcams.

The Door is a dual voice application for mobile and web information service that is designed to help new energy entrepreneurs in developing countries navigate early and ongoing business challenges and opportunities. The service allows entrepreneurs to access concrete information about business related subjects via voice content from their cell phones, and ask questions and receive answers from a network of experts through a built-in voice mail service. Service is organized by country, meaning that users in, for example, Tanzania would have access to information that pertains only to Tanzania.

Content that is available through the voice application is also located in a text format on the Door’s web page.

A sonified rendition of Camille Utterback\’s Text Rain. However, each letter and number is mapped to a different sound sample. Users can enter any text they wish. Entered text appears onscreen and loops, falling from top to bottom. Users can interact with the letters by standing in front of the camera and \”playing\” with them. If multiple letters are \”touched\” at the same time, the corresponding sounds will also play simultaneously. If there is a combination of movements populating the screen (such as one or more people using multiple hand gestures and hand placements), then the pattern will emerge sonically, allowing for the potential of creating music. The combination of interactions and sonified text create a step sequencer of sorts with the letters of the alphabet acting as the bank of sound samples.

I have built up a frame of octagonal cylindrical frame to hang eight discarded laptops on each column with linear bearing so that user can pull them up and down. Because all of the laptops are suspended by a single rope on pulleys, the change of height of one laptop will affect height of the rest of laptops. When a user gently pushes up one laptop, the others will change their height and the display will also change.
