Classes
Rest of You

This project is about the fine line that we do not cross in communications: between the verbal and acknowledged, and the unspoken, subtle, subconscious or intentional gestures of our eyes and bodies. There is a deeply embedded conventional divide between spoken and body languages:: a social contract that creates hilarious, awkward, and sometimes difficult situations. What if I were to directly address the action that is not to be acknowledged with words? What if I did it with images that amplify what is happening in the realm of eye communication.

Background
The background research for this class can best be described as Dan O's Rest of You syllabus. It also includes my personal experiences with communication challenges as a one time foreigner eternally learning english and american mannerisms and as a traveler learning other languages, both spoken and less overt (body, eye contact, etc).

Audience
Anybody talking to the wearer.

User Scenario
The person wearing the device will be able to use their eyes as a way of communicating with people, subtly or overtly.

Implementation
The glasses have two hacked ps3eye cameras on them, they are pretty much done. A tablet will take the place of my computer for the wearable version.
