POP! is an interactive installation that explores bubbles as an interface. The user is prompted to pop soap bubbles which trigger a “POP” sound. The popping of the bubbles is tracked through blob detection in OpenCV and the sounds (consisting of 30 different prerecorded \"pops\") are generated through Processings Minim library.
The idea originated in our wish to make bubbles intelligent and explore how these can be used to give feedback.
