The Kinesthete is a digital synthesis instrument with expressive analog controls. It is suggestive of an acoustic instrument with versatility and timbreal control of a synthesizer. The player inserts their finger into a ring and as the ring is slid left and right, the pitch changes continuously along the instruments 4 octave range. Integrated into the instrument is two speakers, an audio amplifier and the sound generation device, making this a stand-alone device and truly a musical instrument.
