Alum Creates interactive children novel iPad app

ITP Alumnus Anders Sandell started a company designing children’s books and toys.

They have a first iPad app out in iTunes that started out as of his student’s project in his lab, Khoya by Shilo Shiv Suleiman & Avijit Michael.  It’s a children’s fantasy novel about a future dystopian world. The project has gotten fair amount of press.  It was recently featured in Wired Magazine in the UK, after having been showcased at the Wired Conference, in London this year, and they launched it at INK in Jaipur.
Here’s an article about the project.
